Increasing employee productivity is one of the most important goals in any business. Despite this, a lot of human resources professionals do not consider this field legitimate.
Even though most human resources professionals admit that their job is all about establishing policies and programs governing people management, very few of them successfully connect these elements in order to increase productivity. When it comes to the employee training tools, these are often secured through the lowest cost provider method with little consideration given to which provider would be most effective.
Furthermore, recruiting practices too are often managed with the goal to minimize costs and not to enable business capacity/capability. Regardless the point from which you look at the problem, human resources nowadays is more concerned with cutting costs and executing transactions instead of delivering solutions for productivity.
